Q. How much notice do you need?

It depends on my diary for that week but so far I have turned around all of my reports within three working days.

Q. How do I instruct you?

Give me a call or email me. For private clients payment will be required prior to inspection. For business customers looking to instruct me on a regular basis payment terms can be agreed.

Q. How much does it cost?

Currently the cost of a single EPC from myself starts from £60 depending on which part of Nottingham your property is and how large it is. There is no VAT to pay nor any other "extras". For business customers looking to instruct on a regular basis this fee can be negotiated.

Q. I work all week can you inspect at the weekend?

Certainly, I currently work most Saturdays and can also call on Sundays if this is more convenient. In the summer months, with lighter nights, it would also be possible to call in the evening after you finish work.

Q. What are you looking for in your assessment?

Anything that affects the thermal performance of the building. For instance the construction of the outer walls, the type of heating system and heating controls, the amount of insulation, the age of the property.

Q. How long does an assessment take?

Every house varies and some inspections will be quicker than others. Generally speaking I allow one hour for an average inspection.
